“Meadows Moon”

This 48x60 oil on canvas was inspired by the meadows of Utah in the spring and summer. How beautiful nature is during this time when life seems to slow down and smile back at us giving the gift of wildflowers, tall green grass and warmth. The full moon also represents the closing of a cycle and a new beginning, combined with the vivid yellow wildflowers this piece brings peace and happiness into any room. This piece is also highly textured allowing for the light to dance along the different surfaces throughout the day. I also used a variety of different brush and palette knife techniques giving a very custom and unique feel.
